Egoitz Galego recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Montaña in the 23rd minute of play forced FC Berga's goalkeeper Gau Clos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, FC Berga's goal looked a bit too open when Egoitz Galego came free, but Gau Clos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Everardo Quesada charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Everardo Quesada the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. FC Berga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Neron Esperta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 48 minutes in the game, Sebastián Bernal fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gonza Ibanez having to interfere. Neron Esperta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonza Ibanez having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastián Bernal was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Muimenta UD's zone, Sebastián Bernal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonza Ibanez came out of the goal and Sebastián Bernal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute Sebastián Bernal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonza Ibanez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Isidro Ruiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Berga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Muimenta UD the free kick. In the 62nd match minute, FC Berga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidro Ruiz to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute of the match Sandro Barroso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gau Clos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Egoitz Galego's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gau Clos was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Gonza Ibanez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xorxe Justo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Egoitz Galego managed to get in a good position for a shot. Muimenta UD's supporters rose to their feet, but Egoitz Galego was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gau Clos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
