The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rufo Carballido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toni Huguet in the 4th minute of play. Justin Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute of the match Benjamin Pacheco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rufo Carballido skillfully saved the ball. El Toboso FC's Arsenio De Pablo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Iglesias in the 11th minute of play. El Toboso FC's Benvido Murcia got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benvido Murcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rufo Carballido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toni Huguet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the game, El Toboso FC's Toni Huguet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rufo Carballido made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 25th minute, Koldo Zubiaga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Domingo Iglesias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arsenio De Pablo having to interfere. A collision led to El Toboso FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Felipe Campos hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toni Huguet in the 32nd minute of play forced Castellar De La Frontera's goalkeeper Rufo Carballido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Domingo Iglesias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arsenio De Pablo was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. After 43 played minutes El Toboso FC got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Pacheco. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 52 minutes of play, Castellar De La Frontera's Koldo Zubiaga made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arsenio De Pablo was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Benvido Murcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rufo Carballido made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Toni Huguet sent off a good shot on target. In the 65th minute, Felipe Campos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. El Toboso FC's Arsenio De Pablo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Iglesias in the 66th minute of play. After 67 minutes, Ezequiel Moya mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Toboso FC and the Castellar De La Frontera players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ezequiel Moya kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Koldo Zubiaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio De Pablo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute of the match Xarles Flores shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arsenio De Pablo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Koldo Zubiaga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castellar De La Frontera's supporters rose to their feet, but Koldo Zubiaga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arsenio De Pablo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Domingo Iglesias in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arsenio De Pablo saved El Toboso FC from getting behind. Toni Huguet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rufo Carballido having to interfere. A collision led to Castellar De La Frontera getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Anton Beloki hit a great ball. If Koldo Zubiaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arsenio De Pablo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Iglesias in the 92nd minute of play. Arsenio De Pablo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Koldo Zubiaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The El Toboso FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
