Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eleazar Palomar started the match with the kick off. El Toboso FC's Benvido Murcia got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 8 minutes into the match, El Toboso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eleazar Palomar came free, but Arsenio De Pablo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in El Toboso FC's zone, Xesus Viejo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arsenio De Pablo came out of the goal and Xesus Viejo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Eleazar Palomar sped through El Toboso FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arsenio De Pablo. When Xesus Viejo came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Gerena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xesus Viejo couldn't finish the play. Arsenio De Pablo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apat Quintanilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Arsenio De Pablo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xesus Viejo in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute Xesus Viejo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio De Pablo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dionisio Gomar kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Benvido Murcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of El Toboso FC booed when Gerena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Gomar didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benvido Murcia made a kick off. With a little luck, El Toboso FC's Arsenio De Pablo got control of the ball when Xesus Viejo tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Eleazar Palomar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Eleazar Palomar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gerena's supporters rose to their feet, but Eleazar Palomar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arsenio De Pablo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xesus Viejo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Toni Huguet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roberto Alfaro hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Xesus Viejo managed to get in a good position for a shot.
