Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Maximiano Bartumeu got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Villena booed when Rojos cual fresas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristobal Noya didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximiano Bartumeu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Villena's Baldemer Solano suffered a torn muscle in his knee after 11 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 11 minutes into the game, Gallo Helguera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rojos cual fresas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villena the free kick. In the 13th minute of the match Pepito Antunez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Frisco Benedicto skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Nicolás Soto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villena's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolás Soto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frisco Benedicto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute, Nicolás Soto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Villena getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Modesto Alavedra hit a great ball. If Juanito Sacristán had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Rojos cual fresas's Ekhi March slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alexander Leal. That made the score 1-0 after 25 minutes of play. Villena's Nicolás Soto got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Villena's goalkeeper Alexander Leal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juanito Sacristán. Juanito Sacristán could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Alexander Leal made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Juanito Sacristán made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolás Soto got free with Frisco Benedicto in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicolás Soto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frisco Benedicto having to interfere. The supporters of Rojos cual fresas booed when Villena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Alavedra didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Villena's Melchor Cartagena got a free kick in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juanito Sacristán in the 60th minute of play forced Villena's goalkeeper Alexander Leal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 63 minutes, Maximiano Bartumeu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximiano Bartumeu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Nicolás Soto came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Villena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolás Soto couldn't finish the play. Archibaldo Rossello might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexander Leal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Archibaldo Rossello ran back to his position shaking his head. Juanito Sacristán received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Alexander Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 86 played minutes Rojos cual fresas got a freekick which was hit by Ekhi March. Villena's Modesto Alavedra got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Rojos cual fresas booed when Villena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiano Bartumeu didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Villena players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rojos cual fresas.
