Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Carabanchel's Xosepe Nunez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Xosepe Nunez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Frisco Benedicto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Juanito Sacristán had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 7 minutes into the game, Rojos cual fresas's Juanito Sacristán nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hermelando Escurza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Juanito Sacristán might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hermelando Escurza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juanito Sacristán ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Antonio Contratas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carabanchel's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Contratas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frisco Benedicto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ekhi March recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frisco Benedicto made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Antonio Contratas sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 29 minutes, Xosepe Nunez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carabanchel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xosepe Nunez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Xosepe Nunez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Frisco Benedicto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, Ekhi March cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Hermelando Escurza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Antonio Contratas in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Frisco Benedicto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After the first half Rojos cual fresas were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Ekhi March made the kick off in the second half. Doroteo Alfaro kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute Blas Sobera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frisco Benedicto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xosepe Nunez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Frisco Benedicto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frisco Benedicto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xosepe Nunez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xosepe Nunez struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Frisco Benedicto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carabanchel. Frisco Benedicto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xosepe Nunez in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 64th minute of the match, Ekhi March tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hermelando Escurza saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 70 minutes into the game, Cristobal Noya was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rojos cual fresas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carabanchel the free kick. After 74 played minutes Carabanchel got a freekick which was hit by Ovando Huguet. Hermelando Escurza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juanito Sacristán went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Ekhi March fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermelando Escurza having to interfere. In the 85th match minute, Carabanchel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Víctor Acosta to maneuver through the defense. Rojos cual fresas were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Carabanchel's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Doroteo Alfaro took the corner. In the 90th minute Juanito Sacristán shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermelando Escurza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xosepe Nunez in the 97th minute of play forced Rojos cual fresas's goalkeeper Frisco Benedicto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rojos cual fresas's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
