The audience was convinced that Che Font's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lluc Rua was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Real Ourense C.F.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Figueruelas the free kick. Francis Bajo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Josep España in the 31st minute. 35 minutes into the match, Figueruelas's goal looked a bit too open when Vachon Huarte came free, but Francis Bajo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Manel Barrios ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lluc Rua was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vachon Huarte to strike the kick off in the second half. Lluc Rua made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raphael Bermudez in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute Vachon Huarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francis Bajo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Josep España's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francis Bajo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Lluc Rua made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pelayo Echeto in the 58th minute. Pelayo Echeto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lluc Rua having to interfere. Pelayo Echeto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lluc Rua having to make a save. Che Font was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 66th minute. Salomon Toledo's late challenge caught a Figueruelas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arlo Ocaña was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 76 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Figueruelas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! Francis Bajo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josep España, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Francis Bajo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vachon Huarte in the 84th minute of the match. Josep España sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
