Txomin Manriques short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Etxave Negro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Etxave Negro was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Rolando Abrego capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rolando Abrego really showed his touch with that goal: 2-5. Real Madrid's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
