Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Porfirio Colillas started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Pascal Sierra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panizos's supporters rose to their feet, but Pascal Sierra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Goyo Vila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Panizos's Pascal Sierra in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 13th minute Paco Diez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Paco Diez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvaro Abad was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Roi Morales struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Goyo Vila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panizos. If Roi Morales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With 28 minutes on the clock, Lamberto Galego commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Panizos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pontevedra CF:s goal. After a defensive mix-up in Panizos's zone, Porfirio Colillas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvaro Abad came out of the goal and Porfirio Colillas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the match, Porfirio Colillas notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Panizos's Alvaro Abad. Alvaro Abad was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alvaro Abad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paco Diez in the 43rd minute of play. After the first half Pontevedra CF were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Roi Morales made the kick off in the second half. Alvaro Abad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Porfirio Colillas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Porfirio Colillas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvaro Abad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Roi Morales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Goyo Vila having to interfere. When Roi Morales came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Panizos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roi Morales couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mino Garrido during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Panizos booed when Pontevedra CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mino Garrido didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, Porfirio Colillas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gonza Redondo hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute, Porfirio Colillas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
