An unexpectedly hard shot by Peio Redondo in the 12th minute of play forced Real Club Huelva's goalkeeper Francesco De Pablo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aldo Babia kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute of the match Elazar Mayor shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xoan Quijana showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 18 minutes into the match, El Señor Cartucho's goal looked a bit too open when Nagoi Lopez de Toro came free, but Xoan Quijana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Domeka Palacios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francesco De Pablo having to interfere. Adrián Checa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francesco De Pablo having to interfere. In the 25th match minute, Real Club Huelva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gorka Leseduarte to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Elazar Mayor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adrián Checa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nuno Nobo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Francesco De Pablo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 34 played minutes El Señor Cartucho got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Estruch. A collision led to Real Club Huelva getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Aquilino Aballe hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 40th minute by Nuno Nobo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domeka Palacios in the 42nd minute of play forced Real Club Huelva's goalkeeper Francesco De Pablo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fulgencio Estruch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Domeka Palacios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Francesco De Pablo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Nobo struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Francesco De Pablo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Señor Cartucho. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaston Rapado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Real Club Huelva's Elazar Mayor quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fulgencio Estruch, made in the 57th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elazar Mayor in the 58th minute of play forced El Señor Cartucho's goalkeeper Xoan Quijana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Nuno Nobo managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Señor Cartucho's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuno Nobo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francesco De Pablo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francesco De Pablo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domeka Palacios, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. El Señor Cartucho were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Real Club Huelva's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adrián Checa took the corner. After a rather tough play, El Señor Cartucho's Fernando Borrás got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Nuno Nobo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. After a defensive mix-up in El Señor Cartucho's zone, Gorka Leseduarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xoan Quijana came out of the goal and Gorka Leseduarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nuno Nobo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 83 played minutes Real Club Huelva got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Huguet. Adrián Checa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 84th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to El Señor Cartucho getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Adrián Checa hit a great ball. Nuno Nobo struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Francesco De Pablo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Señor Cartucho. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xamin Ledo during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
