After having played for 21 minutes, Leandro Martinez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zumaia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Martinez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Barea Aballe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristos Buendia in the 25th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Graciano Cacheres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28thth minute of the game Cristos Buendia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zumaia's Barea Aballe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29th minute, Paquito Montes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zumaia's Barea Aballe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristos Buendia in the 32nd minute of play. In the 36thth minute of the game Inautzi Aranzubia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zumaia's Barea Aballe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The tension between the Entrena and the Zumaia players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Entrena getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Jusepe Toxeiro hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Llope Villafane in the 63rd minute of play forced Entrena's goalkeeper Herminio Segarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Llope Villafane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Herminio Segarra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Leandro Martinez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herminio Segarra was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. In the 70th match minute, Entrena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renaldo Marques to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute, Cristos Buendia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 81st minute of the game. One of Zumaia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Entrena:s goal. Entrena's Paquito Montes got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Pelayo Cañadas fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zumaia's protests and gave Pelayo Cañadas a yellow card for diving instead. After 87 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Zumaia! The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Entrena's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
