After 3 played minutes, Zumaia's Nerio Harroyo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Millán Paris came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zumaia reached it. In the 6th minute of the match Ovando Barro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Millán Paris showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 8 minutes, Llope Villafane managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zumaia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Llope Villafane was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Zumaia's goal looked a bit too open when Gregory Lozano came free, but Barea Aballe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Espot booed when Zumaia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Bravo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bilbo Escobar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Millán Paris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Llope Villafane, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leandro Martinez was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Gregory Lozano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Barea Aballe was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Lucas Bravo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leandro Martinez took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Millán Paris. Millán Paris dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Zumaia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Espot.
