Uriel Castaño didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xacintu Zabalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose-Juan Mendez, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Xacintu Zabalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose-Juan Mendez in the 11th minute of play. With a little luck, Villanueva De La Presa's Xacintu Zabalo got control of the ball when Cortez Valverde tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jacinto Pantoja's late challenge caught a Uribarri's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacinto Pantoja helped the player get up and apologised. Jacinto Pantoja kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Villanueva De La Presa's zone, Jose-Juan Mendez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xacintu Zabalo came out of the goal and Jose-Juan Mendez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute, Jacinto Pantoja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Cortez Valverde managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uribarri's supporters rose to their feet, but Cortez Valverde was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xacintu Zabalo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Villanueva De La Presa's Casado Camino managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ponc Delgado in the 28 minute of the game. Cortez Valverde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xacintu Zabalo having to interfere. Xacintu Zabalo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cortez Valverde in the 32nd minute. Casado Camino kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Xacintu Zabalo was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Cortez Valverde capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cortez Valverde really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Xose Romero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cortez Valverde's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xacintu Zabalo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Xacintu Zabalo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose-Juan Mendez in the 44th minute of the match. Cortez Valverde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Xacintu Zabalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Casado Camino to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Cortez Valverde had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xacintu Zabalo. Villanueva De La Presa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cortez Valverde was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 58th minute Cortez Valverde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xacintu Zabalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xacintu Zabalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cortez Valverde in the 59th minute of play. Cortez Valverde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xacintu Zabalo having to interfere. Uribarri's Cortez Valverde got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xacintu Zabalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cortez Valverde in the 79th minute of play. Carlito Villalcazar hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Cordarell Galego struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Xacintu Zabalo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uribarri. Xacintu Zabalo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cortez Valverde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 92 minutes, Jose-Juan Mendez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uribarri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose-Juan Mendez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cortez Valverde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xacintu Zabalo having to interfere.
