Uribarri's Arximiro Ballesteros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justo Albizua in the 19th minute of play. Vito Aguilar's late challenge caught a Uribarri's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vito Aguilar helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to ChavitosboysII getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Vito Aguilar hit a great ball. Arximiro Ballesteros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vito Aguilar in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Uribarri's supporters rose to their feet, but Cortez Valverde was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Unai Gómez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jose-Juan Mendez might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Unai Gómez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
