Valentín Benedicto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurgain Camacho having to interfere. Ferman Vidal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Ecija, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. When Ambrosio Madariaga fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caneja AFC's protests and gave Ambrosio Madariaga a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th minute, Ambrosio Madariaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If David Ecija had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, David Ecija got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valentín Benedicto came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Laurgain Camacho could save by the left post. Caneja AFC's Ferman Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Ecija in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Riudellots De La Selva's goal looked a bit too open when Argi Ladra came free, but Laurgain Camacho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 played minutes Argi Ladra rounded Riudellots De La Selva's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Argi Ladra struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Laurgain Camacho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caneja AFC. A collision led to Caneja AFC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Godfredo Diaz hit a great ball. Eneko Lermo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 47 minutes, Esquipula Azofra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caneja AFC and the Riudellots De La Selva players grew even worse after the yellow card. Esquipula Azofra kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Argi Ladra made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Valentín Benedicto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caneja AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentín Benedicto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Riudellots De La Selva's Eneko Lermo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ferman Vidal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If David Ecija had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Ecija sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Argi Ladra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Laurgain Camacho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Godfredo Diaz kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Eneko Lermo took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Ferman Vidal to make any attempt to save it. In the 88th minute, Berto Morales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Riudellots De La Selva's Laurgain Camacho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Argi Ladra in the 96th minute of play. Riudellots De La Selva's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
