Silverio Companys came out and tried to block the shot, but Ariando Clemente slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 22nd minute. In the 27thth minute of the game Ariando Clemente who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bilbali Lions's Silverio Companys was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Silverio Companys made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Ermegildo Doblas sent off a good shot on target. Ariando Clemente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Silverio Companys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ariando Clemente came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Villanueva AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ariando Clemente couldn't finish the play. Ermegildo Doblas struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Silverio Companys didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villanueva AFC. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The audience was convinced that Ermegildo Doblas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silverio Companys was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Ariando Clemente took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silverio Companys. Silverio Companys dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Apolo Aballe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
