The supporters of Ripollet AFC booed when Sitges AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lolo Montiel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ripollet AFC's Pepito Lopez got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mino Calvo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrico Pujol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martín Borrás who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Gaspar Carreira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Aurre Ponce De Leon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gaspar Carreira came out and tried to block the shot, but Aurre Ponce De Leon slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 25th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pepito Lopez made a kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Juan Alvarez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ripollet AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Alvarez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64thth minute of the game Pepito Lopez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sitges AFC's Mino Calvo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Martín Borrás notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Ripollet AFC's Gaspar Carreira. Gaspar Carreira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The Sitges AFC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
