After 16 played minutes Godineta FC got a freekick which was hit by Egoi Landa. Tomi Cordoba struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Dario Calderon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ripollet AFC. Dario Calderon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pepito Lopez in the 19th minute of the match. Godineta FC's Robustiano Climent got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enrico Pujol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute Pepito Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Calderon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Godineta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Alvarez came free, but Dario Calderon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pepito Lopez in the 48th minute of play forced Godineta FC's goalkeeper Dario Calderon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robustiano Climent stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Godineta FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Luis-Antonio Olle hit a great ball. Godineta FC were furious when Mariano Santander was red carded, 56 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Godineta FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! The Ripollet AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Juan Alvarez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ripollet AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Alvarez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dario Calderon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gaspar Carreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robustiano Climent, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The audience was convinced that Robustiano Climent's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaspar Carreira was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. In the 66th match minute, Ripollet AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Euloxu Zubiaga to maneuver through the defense. Godineta FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
