The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the game, Santa Seclina's Alatz Montes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xuoco Garzon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Lia Paz stood somewhat misplaced when Gregorio Canal came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 12 minute. Xuoco Garzon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Rosas, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Marco Quintero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mirambell's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santa Seclina the free kick. The supporters of Santa Seclina booed when Mirambell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Quintero didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Santa Seclina getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Alvaro Puig hit a great ball. Santa Seclina's Alvaro Puig got his second yellow card of the match in the 30th minute. The referee ordered Alvaro Puig off the ground. In the 30th minute, Alvaro Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rutenio Batuecas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lia Paz having to interfere. In the 39th match minute, Santa Seclina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Cazorla to maneuver through the defense. Rutenio Batuecas struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Lia Paz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mirambell. Xuoco Garzon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alatz Montes in the 43rd minute of the match. When Gil Solo came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Santa Seclina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gil Solo couldn't finish the play.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rutenio Batuecas to strike the kick off in the second half. Xuoco Garzon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Solo in the 53rd minute of play. In the 60th minute, Rutenio Batuecas made a precise shot to the right of Lia Paz. Santa Seclina's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Lia Paz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Quintero, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Santa Seclina's Lia Paz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rutenio Batuecas in the 68th minute of play. When Gregorio Canal fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mirambell's protests and gave Gregorio Canal a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Mirambell's Gregorio Canal got a free kick in the 71st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Santa Seclina's zone, Hori Tobia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lia Paz came out of the goal and Hori Tobia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alatz Montes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xuoco Garzon having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mirambell fans cheered their team off the field, for while Santa Seclina had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
