Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucas Rosas in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvino Beloki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lia Paz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Llanos Izaguirre in the 13th minute of play. Alvino Beloki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alatz Montes in the 17th minute. Alatz Montes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Poli Quintero fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santa Seclina's protests and gave Poli Quintero a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of MBH FC booed when Santa Seclina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Poli Quintero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alatz Montes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Alvino Beloki made a huge save. Lia Paz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anaia Castaño in the 30th minute of the match. Lucas Rosas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Lucas Rosas came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Santa Seclina fans jumped to their feet. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Llanos Izaguirre was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Carlos Cabada was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MBH FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santa Seclina the free kick. After 55 played minutes MBH FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Cabada. Lucas Rosas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvino Beloki having to interfere. If Lucas Rosas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Anaia Castaño managed to get in a good position for a shot. MBH FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anaia Castaño was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lia Paz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lia Paz was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Llanos Izaguirre capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Llanos Izaguirre really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 82nd minute of the match Baldovino Arias shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lia Paz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Llanos Izaguirre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
