Piñatas Karkomidas's Mikel Mendez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Moreno in the 32nd minute of play. Darien Pascual sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramón Colsa hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Miro De Pedro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miro De Pedro in the 44th minute of play forced Carballeira CD's goalkeeper Pelayo Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
