Lucero Pedrosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aznar Coello, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Panduri Tg-Jiu's Dalmacio Manzano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giro Benítez in the 37th minute of play. Dalmacio Manzano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dionisio Jaen in the 40th minute. Jaime Redondo's late challenge caught a Panduri Tg-Jiu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaime Redondo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th minute there was a penalty for Panduri Tg-Jiu. Feijo Canturri stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lucero Pedrosa. 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Giro Benítez to strike the kick off in the second half. Vegas De Coria AD's Dionisio Jaen got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Vegas De Coria AD defense, Aznar Coello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucero Pedrosa. The Vegas De Coria AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucero Pedrosa should have stopped the shot. Aznar Coello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucero Pedrosa having to interfere. Aznar Coello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Lucero Pedrosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute Dionisio Jaen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmacio Manzano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 87 minutes, Aznar Coello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panduri Tg-Jiu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aznar Coello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dionisio Jaen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dalmacio Manzano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Giro Benítez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Dionisio Jaen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Panduri Tg-Jiu had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
