The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Panduri Tg jiu's goalkeeper Natanael Lastras, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Vilajuïga FC's César Rallo in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. César Rallo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natanael Lastras having to interfere. Panduri Tg jiu's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when César Rallo scored to the left of an out of position Natanael Lastras, making the score, 1-0. César Rallo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Natanael Lastras read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Arturo Landa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Natanael Lastras made a huge save. A collision led to Panduri Tg jiu getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Oro Alavedra hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, Vilajuïga FC's Pepe Urbina shot a high long ball. Panduri Tg jiu's goalkeeper was lucky when the ball hit the right post and out. In the 34th of the match, César Rallo tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Natanael Lastras got in the way and made a wonderful save. Natanael Lastras didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arturo Landa went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Arturo Landa was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 44th minute. Vilajuïga FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 46th minute of the match, César Rallo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Natanael Lastras saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Panduri Tg jiu getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Oriche Escobar hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Vilajuïga FC's Pepe Urbina tried to score from far away in the 48th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Facundo Bernal was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Panduri Tg jiu getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Oro Alavedra hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, Vilajuïga FC's César Rallo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Natanael Lastras narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 64 minutes of play, Vilajuïga FC's Arturo Landa made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Natanael Lastras was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Berdaitz Clos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Facundo Bernal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Panduri Tg jiu fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! In the 80th match minute, Vilajuïga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorio Otero to maneuver through the defense. Panduri Tg jiu's Natanael Lastras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Landa in the 84th minute of play. In the 86thth minute of the game Arturo Landa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panduri Tg jiu's Natanael Lastras was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Panduri Tg jiu's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Landa came free, but Natanael Lastras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panduri Tg jiu's Berdaitz Clos was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 92nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vilajuïga FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Panduri Tg jiu had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
