Mirca CD's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolfo Saez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karmel Gonzalez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Asensio Zabalo in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karmel Gonzalez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alcotas's Karmel Gonzalez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asensio Zabalo in the 8th minute of play. The supporters of Alcotas booed when Mirca CD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albi Aballe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mirca CD's Rodolfo Saez got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Asensio Zabalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Asensio Zabalo scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karmel Gonzalez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Mirca CD getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Paquito Mayol hit a great ball. Rodolfo Saez kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Asensio Zabalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karmel Gonzalez having to interfere. Alcotas's Hori Ribeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 37 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Mirca CD's Rodolfo Saez fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Alcotas's zone, Rodolfo Saez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karmel Gonzalez came out of the goal and Rodolfo Saez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th minute Paquito Mayol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karmel Gonzalez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Montez Tobia to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Asensio Zabalo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mirca CD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Asensio Zabalo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Alcotas's Montez Tobia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bizen Dominguez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 62 minutes into the game, Paquito Mayol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mirca CD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alcotas the free kick. When Lesardo Rossello fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mirca CD's protests and gave Lesardo Rossello a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mirca CD fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! In the 91st minute there was a penalty for Alcotas. Sandro Bastida stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bizen Dominguez. 2-2. 97 minutes into the match, Mirca CD's goal looked a bit too open when Hori Ribeiro came free, but Bizen Dominguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
