After 6 played minutes Depeche Mode C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Nevada Paredes. After a defensive mix-up in Depeche Mode C.F.'s zone, Rigoberto Rico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Indar Abajas came out of the goal and Rigoberto Rico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 10 minutes, Cordarell Ecija managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Els Brucs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cordarell Ecija was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Elias Suarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aureliano Cifuentes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toño Jareño in the 23rd minute of the match. Cordarell Ecija fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Indar Abajas having to interfere. After some careless play in the Els Brucs defense, Pepe Rosas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aureliano Cifuentes. The Els Brucs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aureliano Cifuentes should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Depeche Mode C.F.'s Geronimo Zapico got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Santiago Manrique recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cordarell Ecija recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. The wind increased when Toño Jareño made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Els Brucs booed when Depeche Mode C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toño Jareño didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rdth minute of the game Cordarell Ecija who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Depeche Mode C.F.'s Indar Abajas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Els Brucs getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Xerardo Lagunas hit a great ball. Aureliano Cifuentes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toño Jareño in the 65th minute of play. Indar Abajas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cordarell Ecija in the 70th minute of the match. After 71 played minutes Depeche Mode C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Nevada Paredes. Cordarell Ecija fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Indar Abajas having to interfere. Els Brucs's Aureliano Cifuentes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Els Brucs from getting a goal against them. Elias Suarez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Aureliano Cifuentes made a huge save. Els Brucs were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Depeche Mode C.F. to leave the ground with a draw.
