Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Villanueva's Aya Rojas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Toño Jareño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 5 minutes, Cordairo Silvestre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Depeche Mode C.F. and the Villanueva players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Villanueva booed when Depeche Mode C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cordairo Silvestre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xelo Pedriza took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Indar Abajas. Depeche Mode C.F.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Aguilo in the 9th minute of play forced Depeche Mode C.F.'s goalkeeper Indar Abajas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Toño Jareño's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Millán Escurza was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. After having played for 16 minutes, Elias Suarez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Depeche Mode C.F.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Suarez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Toño Jareño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Millán Escurza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th of the match, Toño Jareño tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Millán Escurza got in the way and made a wonderful save. Millán Escurza made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Elias Suarez sent off a good shot on target. Aya Rojas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Toño Jareño managed to get in a good position for a shot. Depeche Mode C.F.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Toño Jareño was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Millán Escurza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute, Nono Reyes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, Depeche Mode C.F.'s Ganix Santos broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Toño Jareño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elias Suarez got free with Millán Escurza in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Herberto Amer kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Toño Jareño was the one to do the kick off. Cordairo Silvestre got his second yellow card in the match during the 51st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Villanueva's Xelo Pedriza shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 53rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Indar Abajas but with some difficulty. When Villanueva's Aya Rojas in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Depeche Mode C.F.'s goalie prevented a goal. If Aya Rojas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damaso Aguilo might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Indar Abajas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damaso Aguilo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 63rd minute, Depeche Mode C.F.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Aya Rojas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Indar Abajas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aya Rojas in the 66th minute of play. After 70 minutes, Ganix Santos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Depeche Mode C.F. and the Villanueva players grew even worse after the yellow card. Indar Abajas went to the wrong direction when Xelo Pedriza was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 75th minute, Elias Suarez made a precise shot to the right of Millán Escurza. Villanueva's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uhin Torrent during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 77 played minutes Villanueva got a freekick which was hit by Uhin Torrent. Aya Rojas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Indar Abajas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aya Rojas in the 85th minute of the match. Uhin Torrent could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Indar Abajas made a huge save. In the 98th minute, Pepe Rosas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xelo Pedriza was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 99th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Depeche Mode C.F. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Villanueva had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
