Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Furman Quintas in the 53rd minute of play forced Cabanes FC's goalkeeper Iñaki Alonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iñaki Alonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesareo Llinares in the 54th minute of the match. Berdaitz Olmedo struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Iñaki Alonso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mesillas CF. Cesareo Llinares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Iñaki Alonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Cabanes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Berdaitz Olmedo came free, but Iñaki Alonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
