Francisco Coello might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvito Abad. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Coello ran back to his position shaking his head. In a very dangerous position, a player in Castellón De La Plana fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! In the 16th minute there was a penalty for Puçol UD. Iyan Suarez stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alvito Abad. 1-0. Ray Escobar kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Baraquiel Pascua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Castellón De La Plana's Baraquiel Pascua fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. When Samuel Camarasa came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Puçol UD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Camarasa couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Coello in the 27th minute of play forced Castellón De La Plana's goalkeeper Alvito Abad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Argi Pabon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Huguet, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Baraquiel Pascua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, Puçol UD's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Huguet came free, but Argi Pabon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute of the match, Francisco Coello tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alvito Abad saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 39 minutes into the match, Castellón De La Plana's Baraquiel Pascua sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Argi Pabon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Argi Pabon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Huguet in the 41st minute of play. Castellón De La Plana's Baraquiel Pascua got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

If Francisco Coello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baraquiel Pascua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Argi Pabon having to interfere. Saul Huguet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Argi Pabon having to make a save. If Baraquiel Pascua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvito Abad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Camarasa in the 64th minute of the match. When Samuel Camarasa came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Puçol UD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Camarasa couldn't finish the play. Marco-Antonio Contreras kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. If Baraquiel Pascua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Argi Pabon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baraquiel Pascua in the 74th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Castellón De La Plana's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Coello came free, but Alvito Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Castellón De La Plana's Alvito Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Camarasa in the 80th minute of play. Baraquiel Pascua was extremely unlucky when he, in the 84th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a rather tough play, Puçol UD's Haritz Leal got a free kick in the 86th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Puçol UD's zone, Saul Huguet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Argi Pabon came out of the goal and Saul Huguet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baraquiel Pascua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Argi Pabon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baraquiel Pascua recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
