The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gregorio Jaraba showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Gernika Lumo defense, Alifonso Iniesta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gregorio Jaraba. The Gernika Lumo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gregorio Jaraba should have stopped the shot. 29 minutes into the match, Jaime Galego notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Gernika Lumo's Gregorio Jaraba. Gregorio Jaraba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Miajadas FC reached it. In the 45th minute, Jaime Galego left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Miajadas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-6. The Gernika Lumo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Miajadas FC were winning 2-6.

In the 53rdth minute of the game Jaime Galego who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gernika Lumo's Gregorio Jaraba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 55 minutes into the game, Venceslao Sirvent was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Galego in the 77th minute of play forced Gernika Lumo's goalkeeper Gregorio Jaraba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Miajadas FC's Jaime Galego in the 90th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Gregorio Jaraba was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Gernika Lumo through an amazing save. Alifonso Iniesta scored 2-9 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gregorio Jaraba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gregorio Jaraba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Galego, who was totally free with the ball in the 100th minute.
