Caitano Garrido's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Charro Echeto firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Luquiano booed when Santa Cruz De Moncayo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Casillas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caitano Garrido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luquiano's Fiz Herrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anxo Vicente in the 23rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Luquiano's zone, Petri Serra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fiz Herrero came out of the goal and Petri Serra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Anxo Vicente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Armando Casillas kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the game, Nicodemo Saura was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santa Cruz De Moncayo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Luquiano the free kick. A collision led to Santa Cruz De Moncayo getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Nicodemo Saura hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Caitano Garrido left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Luquiano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Ponciano Ponte made the kick off in the second half. Anxo Vicente's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Fiz Herrero skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Petri Serra came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Santa Cruz De Moncayo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petri Serra couldn't finish the play. After 64 minutes, Armando Casillas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santa Cruz De Moncayo and the Luquiano players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 played minutes Santa Cruz De Moncayo got a freekick which was hit by Armando Casillas. Ponciano Ponte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charro Echeto having to interfere. A collision led to Luquiano getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Moncho Abajas hit a great ball. Anxo Vicente could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Fiz Herrero made a huge save. After recieving a nice pass, Luquiano's Hanot Ortiz tried to score from far away in the 80th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Ponciano Ponte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luquiano's supporters rose to their feet, but Ponciano Ponte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charro Echeto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caitano Garrido in the 84th minute of play forced Santa Cruz De Moncayo's goalkeeper Charro Echeto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caitano Garrido spun around in front of the goal 93 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Santa Cruz De Moncayo's goal. Ponciano Ponte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
