After 5 minutes, Sotero Avila mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Raval CF and the Mecina Alfahar players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th minute, Sotero Avila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cordeal Nueva's late challenge caught a El Raval CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cordeal Nueva helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Mecina Alfahar getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Cordeal Nueva hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, El Raval CF's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Rivas came free, but Cristian Campoamor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Emesto Hevia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Cesaro Zapater was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 17thth minute of the game Rufio Dulce who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mecina Alfahar's Cesaro Zapater was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristian Campoamor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Solera in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rufio Dulce in the 20th minute of play forced Mecina Alfahar's goalkeeper Cesaro Zapater to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Esteban Amer could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Cristian Campoamor however easily saved by the left post. In the 37th minute, Luis Solera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mecina Alfahar's Cesaro Zapater played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sotero Avila in the 41st minute of play. Cordeal Nueva was shown his second yellow card after 41 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Cordeal Nueva hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rufio Dulce in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cesaro Zapater saved Mecina Alfahar from getting behind. If Urbano Cortes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rufio Dulce to make the kick off. Urbano Cortes struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Cesaro Zapater didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Raval CF. The supporters of El Raval CF booed when Mecina Alfahar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernán Barrios didn't get a good kick on the ball. El Raval CF's Cristian Campoamor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Amer in the 56th minute of play. Mecina Alfahar's Esteban Amer got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, El Raval CF's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Amer came free, but Cristian Campoamor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Mecina Alfahar's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rufio Dulce fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 66 minutes into the game, Santiago Rivas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mecina Alfahar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Raval CF the free kick. Santiago Rivas kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Cristian Campoamor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Amer in the 71st minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Esteban Amer notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of El Raval CF's Cristian Campoamor. Cristian Campoamor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emesto Hevia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesaro Zapater having to interfere. El Raval CF were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
