Emesto Hevia scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eutropio Barro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Rufio Dulce's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eutropio Barro was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Juan Orti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eutropio Barro having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emesto Hevia in the 17th minute of play forced Sambreixo's goalkeeper Eutropio Barro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Orti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Sambreixo defense, Emesto Hevia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eutropio Barro. The Sambreixo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eutropio Barro should have stopped the shot. Eutropio Barro was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Rufio Dulce capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rufio Dulce really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Sambreixo's Domenech Rojas got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st match minute, Sambreixo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Helguera to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Campoamor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenech Rojas, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The audience was convinced that Rufio Dulce's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eutropio Barro was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Eutropio Barro made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Emesto Hevia sent off a good shot on target. 47 minutes into the match, El Raval CF's goal looked a bit too open when Ander Perpiñán came free, but Cristian Campoamor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Eutropio Barro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rufio Dulce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eutropio Barro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emesto Hevia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eutropio Barro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urbano Cortes in the 65th minute of the match.
