Esteban Amer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Mecina Alfahar's Marcial Navarro got a free kick in the 33rd minute. A collision led to Mecina Alfahar getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Cordeal Nueva hit a great ball. Eutropio Barro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Rivas, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Esteban Amer got free with Eutropio Barro in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Santiago Rivas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eutropio Barro was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Domenech Rojas was the one to do the kick off. Eutropio Barro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santiago Rivas's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. In the 58thth minute of the game Santiago Rivas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sambreixo's Eutropio Barro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 66th minute of the match Frutos Abril sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eutropio Barro skillfully saved the ball. Aitor Marcilla kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. If Santiago Rivas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mecina Alfahar's Esteban Amer got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
