Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The audience held their breath when Lonzo Bargas in the 15th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Selmo Santalla's left hand side. Elexalde FC's Selmo Santalla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lalo Gonzalez in the 22nd minute of play. The supporters of sporting de gijon F.C.B booed when Elexalde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Revuelta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Selmo Santalla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovando Hernandez in the 49th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rogelio Roman to strike the kick off in the second half. Tadeo Villafane was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sotero Radaban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogelio Roman in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tadeo Villafane prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sotero Radaban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Tadeo Villafane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ovando Hernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute.
