Patricio Herrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Medero Solana in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Marciano Gonzalvez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute Ovando Hernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Herrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 48 minutes of play, La Rosa Mecánica's Dennis Börnert made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tadeo Villafane was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dennis Börnert to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Dennis Börnert sped through sporting de gijon F.C.B's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tadeo Villafane. La Rosa Mecánica's Gaston Hats got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tadeo Villafane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Börnert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaston Hats sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 95th minute, Dennis Börnert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tadeo Villafane was out of position in the 97 minute of play, and Dennis Börnert capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dennis Börnert really showed his touch with that goal: 1-7. When the final whistle sounded La Rosa Mecánica left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than sporting de gijon F.C.B.
