The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nesor Marques helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of A.C. Norwich booed when Las Zorreras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nesor Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olaf Dziedziak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Zabal Vila made a huge save. Las Zorreras FC's Zabal Vila proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Las Zorreras FC from getting a goal against them. In the 15th match minute, Las Zorreras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ursino Lopez to maneuver through the defense. Zabal Vila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vistruario Treviño in the 21st minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, A.C. Norwich's goal looked a bit too open when Cheche Goyanes came free, but Eloy Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Carlo Salgado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Las Zorreras FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.C. Norwich the free kick. After a rather tough play, Las Zorreras FC's Carlo Salgado got a free kick in the 28th minute. Zabal Vila was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Marciano Cuervas. After some careless play in the A.C. Norwich defense, Cheche Goyanes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eloy Salgado. The A.C. Norwich fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eloy Salgado should have stopped the shot. The supporters of A.C. Norwich booed when Las Zorreras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gení Sans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jesús Lastras took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zabal Vila. Zabal Vila dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Las Zorreras FC's Zabal Vila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vistruario Treviño in the 43rd minute of play. The supporters of A.C. Norwich booed when Las Zorreras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Alacuart didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jesús Lastras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 46 in the game by Olaf Dziedziak from a close distance when the talented Zabal Vila managed to make a qualified save. Las Zorreras FC's players were relieved. In the 48th minute, Olaf Dziedziak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Olaf Dziedziak scored 2-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zabal Vila, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Cheche Goyanes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jesús Lastras's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zabal Vila read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Jesús Lastras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zabal Vila having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Jesús Lastras's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zabal Vila was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Zabal Vila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesús Lastras, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Zabal Vila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesús Lastras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Las Zorreras FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. After 95 minutes, Claudio Alacuart mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Las Zorreras FC and the A.C. Norwich players grew even worse after the yellow card. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. A.C. Norwich fully deserved thier win.
