The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of C.D.CARNICERO:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Deportivo Corunha:s goal. Gabino Zabalo kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Goyo Galego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iban Leseduarte in the 13th minute of the match. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Deportivo Corunha! Iñaki Maestro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Goyo Galego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Goyo Galego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iñaki Maestro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iban Leseduarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute, Sandro Feliu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Feliu Ramiréz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Corunha's supporters rose to their feet, but Feliu Ramiréz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xurde Casanova breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iñaki Maestro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Goyo Galego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Goyo Galego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iban Leseduarte in the 39th minute of play. Anxelu Radaban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, C.D.CARNICERO's Iban Leseduarte sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Goyo Galego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 48th minute, Iñaki Maestro made a precise shot to the right of Goyo Galego. Deportivo Corunha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

55 minutes into the match, C.D.CARNICERO's Iñaki Maestro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Goyo Galego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Feliu Ramiréz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xurde Casanova was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Manolo Barberá kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Xurde Casanova showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anxel Nadal, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Nemesio Lillo hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. C.D.CARNICERO's Anxelu Radaban got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in C.D.CARNICERO's zone, Anxel Nadal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xurde Casanova came out of the goal and Anxel Nadal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliu Ramiréz in the 96th minute of play forced C.D.CARNICERO's goalkeeper Xurde Casanova to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C.D.CARNICERO's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
