With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geofredo Bueno in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Telesforo Sauca saved Las Casas CD from getting behind. Las Casas CD's Telesforo Sauca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clodio Roig in the 4th minute of play. When La Gorgoracha's Oier Noya in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Las Casas CD's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, La Gorgoracha's Cipriano Verdaguer got a free kick in the 9th minute. Oier Noya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Las Casas CD's Crescencio Labarra got a free kick in the 19th minute. When La Gorgoracha's Oier Noya in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Las Casas CD's Telesforo Sauca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oier Noya in the 33rd minute of play. Telesforo Sauca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oier Noya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oier Noya's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Telesforo Sauca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute Cipriano Verdaguer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telesforo Sauca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 played minutes Las Casas CD got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Planes. Telesforo Sauca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Verdaguer in the 43rd minute of the match. If Cipriano Verdaguer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Las Casas CD players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. La Gorgoracha were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cipriano Verdaguer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Oier Noya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Las Casas CD's zone, Oier Noya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Telesforo Sauca came out of the goal and Oier Noya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cipriano Verdaguer struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Telesforo Sauca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Gorgoracha. La Gorgoracha's Cipriano Verdaguer got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Telesforo Sauca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Verdaguer, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute, Las Casas CD's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cipriano Verdaguer fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 70 minutes into the match, Las Casas CD's goalkeeper Telesforo Sauca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oier Noya. Mauricio Planes charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mauricio Planes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 73rd minute, Mauricio Planes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the match, La Gorgoracha's Jon Rosario broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Cipriano Verdaguer came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the La Gorgoracha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cipriano Verdaguer couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes into the match, Las Casas CD's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Verdaguer came free, but Telesforo Sauca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Cipriano Verdaguer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Telesforo Sauca. Las Casas CD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cipriano Verdaguer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The supporters of La Gorgoracha booed when Las Casas CD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Migúel Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Beturian Reyes during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 96th minute, the referee gave La Gorgoracha a penalty. Jon Rosario looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Telesforo Sauca.
