Timo Ramiréz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Verdaguer in the 14th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Cipriano Verdaguer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Timo Ramiréz. The goal made the score 1-1. Ponciano Calatayud's late challenge caught a La Gorgoracha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ponciano Calatayud helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to CHUPONES getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Ponciano Calatayud hit a great ball. After 24 played minutes La Gorgoracha got a freekick which was hit by Miro Aranzubia. In the 27th minute of the match CHUPONES got a corner. La Gorgoracha's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Claudio Pareja ran over to the corner to take the kick. 28 minutes into the game, Cefero Nueva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Gorgoracha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CHUPONES the free kick. In the 28th match minute, La Gorgoracha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cefero Nueva to maneuver through the defense. Geofredo Bueno hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Tauro Infante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xosepin Echeto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tauro Infante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xosepin Echeto in the 34th minute of the match. A collision led to CHUPONES getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Ponciano Calatayud hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the match, CHUPONES's goalkeeper Timo Ramiréz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oier Noya. Cipriano Verdaguer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Timo Ramiréz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cipriano Verdaguer to make the kick off. After some careless play in the CHUPONES defense, Cipriano Verdaguer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Timo Ramiréz. The CHUPONES fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Timo Ramiréz should have stopped the shot. If Oier Noya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timo Ramiréz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Verdaguer, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 79th minute Cipriano Verdaguer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timo Ramiréz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oier Noya scored 3-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Timo Ramiréz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 86th minute, Genaro Cortes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amor Pareja kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. La Gorgoracha fully deserved thier win.
