Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) River Plate's Indar Rojas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Indar Rojas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Alain Andres came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the River Plate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alain Andres couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 9th minute by Alain Andres got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 12th minute of the match Jusepe Buendia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andoni Verdu skillfully saved the ball. Ezequiel Fabelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andoni Verdu having to interfere. If Ezequiel Fabelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andoni Verdu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quilino Carro, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Indar Rojas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaskon Viejo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Indar Rojas in the 27th minute of play. Cristián Griful hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Edmundo Nunez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 46 played minutes Bembibre UD got a freekick which was hit by Godfredo Ortiz. Gaskon Viejo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Indar Rojas in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

If Alain Andres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ezequiel Fabelo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 61st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Quilino Carro struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Andoni Verdu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bembibre UD. Andoni Verdu was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Quilino Carro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Quilino Carro really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Quilino Carro struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Andoni Verdu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bembibre UD. When Ezequiel Fabelo came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Bembibre UD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezequiel Fabelo couldn't finish the play. Quilino Carro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Andoni Verdu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Alain Andres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gaskon Viejo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alain Andres in the 97th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bembibre UD walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
