Sinforiano Aranzubia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Andrea Zapata made a huge save. 14 minutes into the match, Atlético Aviación's goal looked a bit too open when Fresco Amer came free, but Andrea Zapata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Atlético Aviación's Hanni Rajoi got a free kick in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Berenguer Jareño sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Andrea Zapata threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Berenguer Jareño this time. After having played for 17 minutes, Fresco Amer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After having played for 32 minutes, Viviano Baños managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fresco Amer was the one to do the kick off. In the 85th match minute, Atlético Aviación was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lalo Abrego to maneuver through the defense. Andrea Zapata stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sinforiano Aranzubia's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Atlético Aviación players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
