Atlético de Fuenllana's Aresti Reina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivón Puig in the 3rd minute of play. Rolando Campomanes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vermudo Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dino Toledo charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dino Toledo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th minute of the match Antolin Cienfuegos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rolando Campomanes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Cristián Pascual had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15thth minute of the game Ivón Puig who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético de Fuenllana's Aresti Reina was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ivón Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolao Ziguenza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Atlético de Fuenllana's Aresti Reina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivón Puig in the 20th minute of play. Rolando Campomanes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vermudo Garcia in the 31st minute of the match. Nicolao Ziguenza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Viseo's Julián Mas got a free kick in the 36th minute. 44 minutes into the match, Atlético de Fuenllana's goalkeeper Aresti Reina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Efren Duran. After 47 minutes, Efren Duran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Viseo and the Atlético de Fuenllana players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th match minute, Viseo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efren Duran to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vermudo Garcia to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Celso Jaen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viseo's supporters rose to their feet, but Celso Jaen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aresti Reina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marques Rossello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aresti Reina having to interfere. Quirze Navarro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aresti Reina having to interfere. Rolando Campomanes didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 61st minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Viseo's zone, Vermudo Garcia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Campomanes came out of the goal and Vermudo Garcia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 70th minute by Cristián Pascual got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 79 minutes in the game, Vermudo Garcia fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rolando Campomanes having to interfere. Antolin Cienfuegos's late challenge caught a Viseo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antolin Cienfuegos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th minute of the match Quirze Navarro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aresti Reina showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Quirze Navarro hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match.
