Pere Olmedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivón Puig in the 13th minute of the match. Pere Olmedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivón Puig's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute Ivón Puig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pere Olmedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tebaldo Jurado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Nicolao Ziguenza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Cutanda CD's Pere Olmedo got control of the ball when Nicolao Ziguenza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ivón Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pere Olmedo having to interfere. Pere Olmedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivón Puig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfredo Domenech was the one to do the kick off. José Flores hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Ivón Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pere Olmedo having to interfere. Nicolao Ziguenza might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pere Olmedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicolao Ziguenza ran back to his position shaking his head. Alfredo Domenech's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Campomanes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Nicolao Ziguenza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pere Olmedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 70thth minute of the game Nicolao Ziguenza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cutanda CD's Pere Olmedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Cutanda CD defense, Ivón Puig kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pere Olmedo. The Cutanda CD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pere Olmedo should have stopped the shot. 79 minutes into the match, Cutanda CD's goal looked a bit too open when Ivón Puig came free, but Pere Olmedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolao Ziguenza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Pere Olmedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nicolao Ziguenza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Nicolao Ziguenza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Viseo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Dino Toledo hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Viseo's Rolando Campomanes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Viseo from getting a goal against them. There was no doubt that Viseo were the better team. Viseo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
