Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lauren Puyol took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Atlético de Fuenllana getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Unai Pacheco hit a great ball. After 7 played minutes Almería got a freekick which was hit by Victorio Duran. Nesor Cambero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Quentin Castelao kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Etxatxu Ribas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vermudo Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vermudo Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Etxatxu Ribas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Almería's Rio Dorado got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Vermudo Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lauren Puyol in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aresti Reina prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Nesor Cambero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 38 minutes, Lauren Puyol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Almería's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lauren Puyol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Etxatxu Ribas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nesor Cambero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd play minute Vermudo Garcia came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Etxatxu Ribas. 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

In the 52nd minute Nesor Cambero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Etxatxu Ribas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lauren Puyol came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Almería fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lauren Puyol couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Unai Pacheco in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Etxatxu Ribas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Currito Solo's late challenge caught a Atlético de Fuenllana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Currito Solo helped the player get up and apologised. 60 minutes into the game, one of Almería:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a rather tough play, Almería's Boniel Cabezas got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Etxatxu Ribas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nesor Cambero in the 70th minute of play. Lauren Puyol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aresti Reina read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Atlético de Fuenllana's Nesor Cambero pulled a muscle in his back after 80 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 80 minutes of play Almería's Currito Solo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Vermudo Garcia might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Etxatxu Ribas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vermudo Garcia ran back to his position shaking his head. Vermudo Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Etxatxu Ribas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vermudo Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vermudo Garcia in the 99th minute of play forced Almería's goalkeeper Etxatxu Ribas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
