Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tito Valcarcel took the kick off in the first half of the match. Teo Sobera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tito Valcarcel in the 6th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Lia Treviño recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Artemio Morales. Lia Treviño showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Efraín Pareja had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Artemio Morales. Can Bartomet AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Efraín Pareja was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 18th minute Cresconio Canosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Sobera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricardo Ibanez during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ricardo Ibanez kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Gorka Alfaro's late challenge caught a Rayo Vallecano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gorka Alfaro helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 played minutes Can Bartomet AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gorka Alfaro. Artemio Morales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efraín Pareja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Efraín Pareja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artemio Morales having to interfere. Can Bartomet AFC's Ricardo Ibanez got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

After 51 played minutes Can Bartomet AFC got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Rienda. After recieving a nice pass, Rayo Vallecano's Medero Marines tried to score from far away in the 53rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Fertus Campomanes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rayo Vallecano's supporters rose to their feet, but Fertus Campomanes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artemio Morales breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Artemio Morales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fertus Campomanes in the 66th minute of play. Rayo Vallecano's Teo Sobera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Rayo Vallecano from getting a goal against them. In the 70th match minute, Rayo Vallecano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lia Treviño to maneuver through the defense. Teo Sobera was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Tito Valcarcel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tito Valcarcel really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Fertus Campomanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Artemio Morales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Can Bartomet AFC's Máximo Treviño got a free kick in the 76th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Can Bartomet AFC's zone, Fertus Campomanes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artemio Morales came out of the goal and Fertus Campomanes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teo Sobera made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Cresconio Canosa sent off a good shot on target. Rayo Vallecano's Fertus Campomanes got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafael Llorente hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rayo Vallecano had won after a very even match.
