Batumi FC's Juliusz Gacki quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ioseba Camarasa during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Vallvidrera's Ioseba Camarasa got a free kick in the 5th minute. If Juliusz Gacki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hernando Molina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ioseba Camarasa in the 11th minute of play. Andrés-Fernando Benito kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Hernando Molina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ioseba Camarasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Guilabertus Gonzáles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michel Adán. Vallvidrera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guilabertus Gonzáles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Juliusz Gacki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Michel Adán tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hernando Molina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Goren Saavedra in the 32nd minute of play. A collision led to Batumi FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Juliusz Gacki hit a great ball. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vallvidrera's goalkeeper Michel Adán, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Guilabertus Gonzáles put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Michel Adán. Hernando Molina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Goren Saavedra, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute, Goren Saavedra fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guilabertus Gonzáles made a kick off. Hernando Molina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Goren Saavedra in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute Teo Zapatero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernando Molina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guilabertus Gonzáles in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michel Adán saved Vallvidrera from getting behind. Goren Saavedra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hernando Molina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Zapatero in the 63rd minute of play. Hernando Molina didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teo Zapatero went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Hernando Molina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teo Zapatero in the 72nd minute of the match. Juliusz Gacki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Michel Adán tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Goren Saavedra scored 2-3 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hernando Molina, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Andrés-Fernando Benito fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vallvidrera's protests and gave Andrés-Fernando Benito a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th match minute, Batumi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manfred Heltboe to maneuver through the defense. After 97 played minutes, Vallvidrera's Aintza Verdaguer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hernando Molina came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vallvidrera reached it. Batumi FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
