Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. George Velazquez started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Giraldo Saboya got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 8 minutes into the game, Cobatillas FC's Giraldo Saboya nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rosendo Castro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 19 minutes into the game, Romulo Ramos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Recuenco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cobatillas FC the free kick. Romulo Ramos hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Cobatillas FC's Zigor Pabon got control of the ball when Lucas Revuelta tried to sneak it across the goal line. George Velazquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. El Recuenco's Rosendo Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Velazquez in the 33rd minute of play. With a little luck, Cobatillas FC's Zigor Pabon got control of the ball when Lucas Revuelta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Giraldo Saboya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Velazquez in the 48th minute of play forced El Recuenco's goalkeeper Rosendo Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Taurino Gimenez to make the kick off. Rosendo Castro was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and George Velazquez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. George Velazquez really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Zigor Pabon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taurino Gimenez, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After 63 played minutes Cobatillas FC got a freekick which was hit by Aitor Varela. 65 minutes into the game, El Recuenco's Taurino Gimenez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zigor Pabon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. George Velazquez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rosendo Castro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Taurino Gimenez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, Cobatillas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Taurino Gimenez came free, but Zigor Pabon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rosendo Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Velazquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for El Recuenco! The goalkeeper, Rosendo Castro, was totally fooled by Cobatillas FC's Jusepe Adán, who 85 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, George Velazquez took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Rosendo Castro to make any attempt to save it. 95 minutes into the game, George Velazquez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rosendo Castro. George Velazquez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. In the 98th minute, Dacio Cuadrado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jusepe Adán's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rosendo Castro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 99th minute of play.
