Dacio Cuadrado charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dacio Cuadrado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 3 played minutes El Recuenco got a freekick which was hit by Dacio Cuadrado. The supporters of El Recuenco booed when Venta De Don Quijote UD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ireno Canal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucas Revuelta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. El Recuenco's Lucas Revuelta got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24thth minute of the game Taurino Gimenez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venta De Don Quijote UD's Eloy Vila was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Taurino Gimenez struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Eloy Vila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Recuenco. After having played for 31 minutes, Taurino Gimenez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Recuenco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Taurino Gimenez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Epicuro Gutierrez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Rosendo Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Epicuro Gutierrez in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rosendo Castro saved El Recuenco from getting behind. Eloy Vila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Taurino Gimenez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Venta De Don Quijote UD players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. El Recuenco were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Epicuro Gutierrez made a kick off. Rosendo Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epicuro Gutierrez in the 54th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, El Recuenco's Benja Camarasa got a free kick in the 54th minute. Fernando Reyes kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Lucas Revuelta who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Eloy Vila when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rosendo Castro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Epicuro Gutierrez's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. In the 83rdth minute of the game Epicuro Gutierrez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Recuenco's Rosendo Castro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Epicuro Gutierrez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rosendo Castro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maule Quintas's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. The El Recuenco players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
