Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andrei Villafane started the match with the kick off. Andrei Villafane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Barro having to interfere. Andrei Villafane charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andrei Villafane the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th match minute, Oteiza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrei Villafane to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the game, Feliberto Gene was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Numancia De La Sagra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oteiza the free kick. 10 minutes into the game, one of Numancia De La Sagra:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 16th minute Gelmiro Vera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rexino Olmedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Andrei Villafane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augusto Salan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Oteiza's Rexino Olmedo got control of the ball when Augusto Salan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gelmiro Vera might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rexino Olmedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gelmiro Vera ran back to his position shaking his head. Quilino Domingo kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Paulin Carrasco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 38 minutes, Paulin Carrasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oteiza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulin Carrasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oteiza's Paulin Carrasco got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Salan got free with Rexino Olmedo in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th minute, Gelmiro Vera fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Augusto Salan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Rexino Olmedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gelmiro Vera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrei Villafane in the 67th minute of play forced Numancia De La Sagra's goalkeeper Damian Barro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damian Barro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrei Villafane in the 77th minute of the match. If Augusto Salan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrei Villafane in the 94th minute of play forced Numancia De La Sagra's goalkeeper Damian Barro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Oteiza eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
