Josu Cabezas hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. A hard shot 27 in the game by Behe Cardeñosa from a close distance when the talented Rosendo Urbieta managed to make a qualified save. Sabugueira AFC's players were relieved. Herauso Zapater charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Behe Cardeñosa couldn't finish the play. Sabugueira AFC's Rosendo Urbieta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Columbo Casas in the 38th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giorgio Baeza during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Giorgio Baeza hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zelipe Pareja in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clodio Nobo saved Las Brisas AFC from getting behind. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Josu Cabezas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Columbo Casas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 65 minutes, Fructuoso Sobera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Las Brisas AFC and the Sabugueira AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute, Mariano Lastras left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sabugueira AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Herauso Zapater hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match.
