Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Sabugueira AFC's Josu Cabezas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Anibal España had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 5 played minutes Sabugueira AFC got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Beloki. Maurin Rojas hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Anibal España fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Urbieta having to interfere. A collision led to Sabugueira AFC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Herauso Zapater hit a great ball. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sabugueira AFC's goalkeeper Rosendo Urbieta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Herauso Zapater during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ulzurrun FC booed when Sabugueira AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herauso Zapater didn't get a good kick on the ball. Josu Cabezas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amat Camaño having to make a save. Mariano Lastras struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Amat Camaño didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sabugueira AFC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lastras got free with Amat Camaño in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Anibal España managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ulzurrun FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anibal España was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rosendo Urbieta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ulises Mendez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rosendo Urbieta came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ulzurrun FC's Anibal España. But to his dismay, Anibal España quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Herauso Zapater was shown his second yellow card after 47 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 48th minute, Herauso Zapater hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ulises Mendez made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Mariano Lastras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amat Camaño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amat Camaño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josu Cabezas in the 54th minute of play. Ulzurrun FC's Amat Camaño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lastras in the 57th minute of play. Josu Cabezas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Amat Camaño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Mariano Lastras managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sabugueira AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Lastras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amat Camaño breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 67 minutes, Anibal España managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ulzurrun FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anibal España was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Mendez in the 73rd minute of play forced Sabugueira AFC's goalkeeper Rosendo Urbieta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulzurrun FC's Amat Camaño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lastras in the 75th minute of play. Ulises Mendez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Urbieta having to interfere. After 85 played minutes Ulzurrun FC got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Mendez. When Ulises Mendez came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Ulzurrun FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulises Mendez couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ulises Mendez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rosendo Urbieta. That made the score 1-2 in the 97 minute of play. Ulzurrun FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
